Loretta Bensic

Loretta A. "Blondie" Bensic, 84, of Susquehanna Twp. and formerly of Steelton, died Saturday, December 9, 2023 in UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.

She was a retired clerk for the PA Dept. of Transportation, a member of the former St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.

Blondie was the daughter of the late Anthony and Thelma I. Simpson Bensic and is survived by one brother, Anthony "Ray" Bencic and his wife, Jean of Manning, SC; one nephew, Brian Bencic and his wife, Lisa of Ashburn, VA; one niece, Stephanie Balliet and husband, Brian of Tucson, AZ; and several grand nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services and Burial will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 11:00 am in Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Twp. with Rev. Steven J. Arena officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
