M. Kenneth Baylor, 81, of Chambers Hill, died Saturday, April 10, 2021 in UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Twp.
He was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School, attended Harrisburg Area Community College, and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retired Trust Administrator for the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Assn. and a former Trust Officer at Commonwealth National Bank, Mellon Bank, and Citizens Bank. He was a member of Neidig Memorial United Methodist Church, Oberlin and was an avid Penn State and Phillies fan and enjoyed muzzle loading and hunting at the cabin.
Ken was the son of the late Milton R. and Lena VanGilder Baylor and is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sandy E. Evans Baylor; two daughters, Denise Ashley Baylor (Timothy Riley) of Cape Canaveral, FL and Karin Elizabeth Baylor Bossler and husband, Travis of Harrisburg; one brother, Terry Baylor of Palmyra; one sister, Kathleen Baylor of Harrisburg; and one grandson, Kole Matthew Bossler.
Graveside Services and Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Churchville Cemetery, 51 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin with Rev. Steven Cowfer, his Pastor, officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Oberlin.
