Margaret Spangler

Margaret A. Canning Spangler, 89, of Holly Springs, NC and formerly of Rutherford, died Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Margaret was the daughter of the late, Paul L. Canning and Helen C. Andes Canning and was the widow of Ralph N. Spangler, Jr. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Wilburn and daughter-in-law, Christina Spangler. She is survived by her son, Scott E. Spangler, Middletown; daughter, Nancy L. Spangler, Holly Springs, NC; 7 grandchildren, Nicole (Don) Ortz, Jennifer Wilburn, Victoria Spangler, Matthew Spangler, Ryan (Cassidy) Newman, Maggie and Noah Ziegler; 3 great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Bryce Ortz and Violet Newman.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 S. Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, with Rev. Dr. Alan C. Wenrich, Officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery at the conclusion of services. A viewing will held on Saturday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the funeral home.
