Mark Mastervich

Dr. Mark M. Mastervich, 74, of Harrisburg, died on Sunday, August 28, 2022 in UPMC-Harrisburg Hospital.

Mark was a self-employed Optometrist in the Harrisburg area for over 40 years, a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War era and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He was the son of the late Alex Mastervich and is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carol A. Latz Mastervich; his mother, Martha Rudolph Mastervich; two sons, Mark M. Mastervich Jr. and Brian A. Mastervich and wife Lynne; one daughter, Jenny M. Prieber and husband Craig; 4 grandchildren, Christian and wife Heather, Devin, Madison and Mason; 2 great-grandchildren, Audrina and Westyn and one sister, Sharon M. Yanko and husband Peter.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 10, 2022 in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 4855 Londonderry Rd. Harrisburg. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. Harrisburg St. Oberlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-9959 .
