Obituary of Mary Frances Gaudio
Mary Frances (Baker) Gaudio, 88, of Brookdale of Harrisburg, Susquehanna Twp. and formerly of Lower Paxton Twp., died Monday, November 30, 2020 in Brookdale.
She was a retired Registered Nurse at Harrisburg State Hospital, a graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School Class of 1949, St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, Lancaster, and Elizabethtown College, where she obtained a Bachelors Degree. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Roman Catholic Church, Susquehanna Twp.
Mary Frances was the daughter of the late Adriane and Helene Knuth Baker and the widow of Joseph F. Gaudio. She is survived by one sister, Carol Baker of Lehigh Acres, FL; a cousin, Betty Baker; six nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Fran Gaudio Jacobs of Mechanicsburg, who were her caregivers. She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Hoffer.
Graveside Services and burial will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 1:30 pm in Resurrection Cemetery, West Hanover Twp. with Rev. Samuel E. Houser, officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110 or the charity of the donor's choice.
