Michael Milakovic

Michael A. Milakovic, 60, of Mechanicsburg, died Saturday, March 5, 2022 in his home.

He was a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School Class of 1980 and Slippery Rock University Class of 1984, where he earned a Bachelors Degree. He was a Computer Operator for Capital Blue Cross, a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Oberlin, and a 50-year member of the Serbian National Federation Lodge 37.

Michael was the son of John Milakovic and the late Georgianne Lubic Milakovic. In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Terri Bownaze Milakovic; brother, John Milakovic and wife, Lana of Camp Hill; two nieces, Anastasia Milakovic and husband, Derek of Columbus, OH and McKayla Spiewak of Mechanicsburg; three nephews, Nicholas Spiewak and wife, Kayla, Garrett Spiewak, and Logan Spiewak all of Mechanicsburg; and several aunts and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin with Rev. Jack Grove officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am unitl 11:00 am in the funeral home.
