Obituary of Michele Mikula
Michele Frances Mikula, 56, peacefully passed on December 16, 2020 at Carolyn's House of Hospice of Central PA, where she resided for nearly two weeks.
Michele was born November 24, 1964 at the former Hershey Hospital, to her late parents, Frank (Spade) and Nancy (Sellers) Mikula. She was the youngest of four children. She was the center of the cocoon created by her parents, siblings, family, neighborhood and anyone who had the privilege of meeting her.
She loved taking photos of just about anything - quick click without focusing - "Best pics ever!" She loved going out to eat to Red Robin - American Burger with sweet potato fries and freckled lemonade. She enjoyed attending sporting events of her great niece and great nephew. She was a great "cheerer" and would enjoy a hot dog at each event, even if several in one day. Simple delights were heart-warming to experience through her eyes.
She is survived by her sister, MaryAnn Kraynak of Kulpmont, PA; sister/brother-in-law, Paula (Dick) Smith of Harrisburg ;and her brother/sister-in-law, David (Kelly) Mikula of Hummelstown.
She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, Raymond (Stephanie) Kraynak and Harper; Joanna (Austin) Appel, D.O. and Stella; Michael Kraynak (Amanda Hons); Terri Scharff and Will and Rylin; Shelbi Smith (Brett Shaw); David Mikula (Devon D'Archangelo); Jessica (Tom) Wenrich and Brooks and Paige; Andrea (Ian) McCurdy; Victoria Mikula (Nicholas Sweetster); and Scott Mikula. In addition she is survived by her step-nephew and family, Brian (Tara) Smith and Bailey, Noah, Lydia, Maddie, Lillian and Everett. She is also survived by her aunt, Corrine Sellers and her uncle, Kenneth Sellers; many cousins and friends, as well as her special care takers Anne Bentz and Dana Rhine.
If you spot something on your shirt front, be careful when you tilt your head down - our Angel may just flick your nose tip from Heaven. Watch out for bunny ears, too!!!
