Patricia Simonic

Patricia A. Siegfried Simonic, 84, of Lower Paxton Twp., was called home to the Lord, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, December 18, 2021 in her home.

Pat was born and raised in Steelton and was a 1955 graduate of Catholic High School (Bishop McDevitt High School). For 24 years, she supported her husband''s military career and traveled across the world including Spain and Hawaii before returning to Pennsylvania. Pat was a former Department Manager for WalMart and a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp. and St. Aloysius Lodge No. 42 KSKJ.

She was the Matriarch of her family who were blessed to have the best wife, mom and nana. She was always on the go and enjoyed shopping, tennis, bowling and golfing. She had a lifetime of friendships across the world and lovingly welcomed all into her home. Friends were an extension of her family, and family was the MOST important thing to her.

Pat was the daughter of the late Edward H. and Emily M. Gould Siegfried and is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Edward R. Simonic; two sons, Rick Simonic and wife, Debbie (Allegrini) of Hershey and Dave Simonic and his fiance, Michelle Kowal of Camp Hill; one daughter, Maryanne Brawley and husband, Terry of Harrisburg; two brothers, Ed Siegfried and wife, Judy and Greg Siegfried, both of Orlando, FL; six grandchildren, Sarah, Teddy, Maura, Tyler and spouse, Connie, Dylan and spouse, Ella, and Maddie; one great grandchild, Beau.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 11:00 am in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Swatara Twp. with Rev. James E. Lease, her Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 10:30 am. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in her church, Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
