Paul Fenice

Paul C Fenice (80), of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed peacefully at home with his wife by his side, on March 14, 2022. Paul was born in Salamanca, NY on August 19, 1941 to Sam and Josephine (Barone) Fenice. He graduated from Bishop McDevitt HS, Class of 1959, and Villanova University in 1963 with a degree in Economics.

After graduating college, Paul joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, 28th Infantry Division, where he served for 26 years, retiring at the rank of Sergeant Major. Paul worked for McCrory Corporation as a Senior Methods Analyst and Kinney Shoe Corporation as a Senior Systems Analyst. After working at Kinney Shoe, Paul and his family acquired Fenicci's Restaurant (formerly DeAngelis Restaurant) in Hershey, PA, where he enjoyed interacting in the community and with his patrons. After more than 18 years of successful business ownership, Paul and his wife began their retirement together.

Paul was a gracious and generous individual with a heart of gold. He is most remembered for his quick wit, humorous stories, and always lighting up the room. Paul was loved by all, but most treasured by his family, especially his grandchildren who brought him endless pride and joy. He was a lifetime member of the West Shore Elks and a long-standing member of the Mechanicsburg Club, and St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. He was long involved with coaching various youth sports and after his family, found no greater pleasure than boating on the Chesapeake Bay.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Mark, and daughter Beth Ann. He is survived by his wife Joan Semic Fenice; his son Jeff and wife Linda of Pittsburgh, PA; and daughter Paula and husband Brad of Hopkinton, NH. His legacy continues with four grandchildren, Steven, Joseph, Nicholas and Gina, in addition to two great-granddaughters, Lucy and Lily.
