Rebecca Anna Clark

Rebecca "Becky” Clark, 84 of Harrisburg, passed away December 17, 2024. Becky, a loving wife, mother and grandmother was born in Oneonta, NY to her parents Gertrude and James. She graduated from the Rome School for the Deaf where she met James Clark, her husband of 34 years. Becky worked in the Bassett Hospital business offices and retired after 40 years of service.

The simplest pleasures brought Becky great joy. She loved to read books, the Bible and remained devoted especially to her prayer books. She loved animals and her home always had dogs, cats and puppies. She enjoyed traveling, camping up and down the coast and visited many cities and beaches with her family. She and her husband, avid NASCAR fans, also enjoyed traveling to many race events. She enjoyed challenging herself with gardening, knitting, puzzles, crosswords and sudoku and also enjoyed challenging her family to a round of chess, dominos and her favorite card games as well. Making others laugh truly made her day.

She is survived by her daughters Robin (Jim), Cathleen (Marc), grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, Olivia, Cameron and Ethan. She was predeceased by her husband Jim, parents Gertrude and James, her stepfather Earl, Grandparents Andrew and Anna, and her son in law Christopher. Services will be held in NY at a later date.
