Richard Bechtold
Richard B. "Dick" Bechtold , 90, of Swatara Township died July 28, 2022 at the Middletown Home. Lower Swatara Township. Dauphin Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William L.Bechtold and Ethel A. (Bailey) Bechtold, one sister, four brothers and recently his wife, Graceann P. (Belmont) Bechtold, who died April 2,2022
Richard retired as Chief of Administrative Services Division for New Cumberland Army Depot. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean War. He graduated from Unadilla Central School in Unadilla New York, Class of 1951. He also attended Northwest State Teachers College in Maryville, Missouri.
He was of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church and was a member of Steelton Italian Club, American Legion Post 420, VFW Post 710, St. Mary''s Club, Steelton Dutch Club and was Past President of the Steelton Lion''s Club.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 11:00 am, in Resurrection Cemetery, 116 S. Oak Grove Road, Harrisburg. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Oberlin.
