Richard L. "Dick" Trace, 77, of Enhaut, entered into eternal rest on Thursday October 7, 2021.
Dick was born in Steelton on May 19, 1944 the son of the late Jeremiah and Viola (Keim) Trace. He was a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School, and attended Lebanon Valley College. Dick was veteran of the United States Navy, and worked as a plumber by trade for many years.
Dick enjoyed genealogy, and researching families and connections he may have had with others. Dick, along with his loving and dedicated wife Sheila have always been a blessing to those whose lives they''ve touched and have always left the door open to family in times of need. Dick spent his life devoted to his family, his faith and helping those in need wherever and whenever possible. Although he had been battling Parkinson''s Disease for many years, he would not allow that to stop him from living his life with simplicity, true meaning and purpose. Dick Trace was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed card nights with family, spending time with his son and his three granddaughters who he just adored. Dick was one of those people who lived his life for others and enjoyed the simple things; watching Judge Judy everyday faithfully and just kicking his feet up and enjoying his time with those he loved; including his dog Abbey. Dick was someone who you just admired, he was selfless and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sheila (Still) Trace; one son Daniel K. Trace, fiancée, Tifany Mangold of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Brianna, Mckenzie, Cameron Trace; one brother, Dave Trace and his wife Marianne of Enhaut; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Trace and Bill Trace; and one sister Nancy Porr.
