Robert Bazdar

Robert Buck Bazdar passed away on March 21st, 2023 in Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania. He was 78 years old. Born in Harrisburg Pennsylvania to Joseph and Betty Bazdar, he was the middle child of three. Robert leaves behind his partner of 26 years, Geraldine Winters, daughter JoEllen, son Alex, brother Richard Bazdar, and sister Katherine Bazdar. He had six grandchildren, Blake, Braden, Elliot, Graham, Henry, and Noah.

Robert was the life of any room. Brilliant beyond compare at a very young age, he excelled at anything he did. He graduated from Penn State University in 1964 with a degree in Biology and Physics. He spent most of his professional career as an appointed hearing officer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation.

He will be remembered by those who knew him as being a completely devoted father and friend, and his caring compassion for everyone he ever met. He was honest, strong, unwavering in principle, and a true hero to many. He accepted everyone and everything. A loving human, and dog lover to the end, he rests in peace. May Robert''s soul dwell with the righteous and be numbered among the just, and may his memory be eternal.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Oberlin.
