Robert Leroy Bucher, Jr.

Robert Leroy Bucher, Jr., 69, of Palmyra and formerly of Steelton, passed away at home on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of Robert Leroy Bucher, Sr. and the late Esther M. Starry. He was the loving husband of Judith (Fettrow) Bucher, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.

Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus in his early years and later went on to attend the Camp Hill Church of Christ. At his heart he was a family man, and loved spending time with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. He will be missed by all.

In addition to his wife and father, Robert is survived by 2 daughters, Stacey Morykin and husband Michael, and Alicea Ackley and husband Frank; 2 grandchildren, Maxwell Morykin and Isabel Morykin; his brother William Bucher; and sister Maurie Euker and husband Patrick. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Bucher.
