Robert Magaro

Robert E. "Hot Dog" Magaro, 75, of Steelton, died Saturday, August 6, 2022 in his home.

He was a retired Gardener and Custodian for the Commonwealth of PA, member of the former St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Steelton and the Steelton Italian Club.

"Hot Dog" was the son of the late Elmer F. Magaro, Sr. and Veronica Restak Magaro. He is survived by one brother, Elmer F. Magaro, Jr. of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Beverly Nenninger and husband, Roger of Lower Paxton Twp.; five nieces, Jacqueline A. Hamill of Mechanicburg, Terri Graham of Harrisburg, Carol Snook of Manassas, VA, Sherri Magaro of Mechanicsburg and Diane Teats of Enola; four great nieces and five great nephews. He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Carol Mary Magaro and his sister-in-law, Roberta Magaro.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin with Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00 am in the funeral home.
