Robert Tenta

Robert Michael Tenta, 82, of Shippensburg, died Saturday, June 25, 2022, in Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph L. Tenta and Anna C. Holtzer Tenta; his sister, Dorothy A. Tenta and two daughters, Lisa Marie Brennan and Tracy Mallison.

He is survived by his brother, Joseph F. Tenta, Ray City, Georgia; six grandchildren from Modesto, CA and numerous cousins from the Harrisburg and York Area.

Robert was a graduate of the Catholic High School of Harrisburg; He joined the United States Navy after graduating high school and served on the USS WASP. Robert married and raised a family in California then moved back to the Shippensburg area in the late 1980s. He was an avid classic car enthusiast and enjoyed going to local car shows and he loved fishing.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Oberlin.
