Robert Timpko

Robert N. Timpko, 83, of Lower Paxton Twp. died Wednesday May 31, 2023 at Homeland Center in Harrisburg.

Robert was a 1957 graduate of West Catholic High School, Philadelphia, a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a graduate of LaSalle University, Philadelphia. He worked many jobs over the years, mostly as a salesman. He worked for Chenango Supply in New York and also for Souix Tool Company based in North Carolina. For many years he lived in Florida, where he eventually retired. He and his current wife traveled extensively around the United States in their RV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Timpko and Cecelia Ryan Timpko, brother Charles Timpko, sister, Mary Jane Timpko Hunt and his first wife, Roberta Scott Timpko. Robert is survived by his wife Shirley R. McCoy Timpko of Harrisburg, a son Robert N. Timpko Jr. and wife Mary Lou, Geneva, Florida; daughters Beth Anne Timpko Maas and husband Robert, Media, PA and Stephanie Timpko Carmichael and husband Stephen, Chadds Ford; stepchildren Joyce Gold and husband Richard, Palmyra, Lori Shambaugh and husband John of Landisburg, Kenneth Starsinic and wife Lisa, Harrisburg, Nicholas Starsinic and wife Molly, Hummelstown and Jeffry Starsinic and wife Jennifer, Harrisburg; brother-in-law, Jack Hunt, Broomall; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 3:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 South Harrisburg Street, Oberlin with Rev. Robert F. Sharman, Pastor, St. Bernard''s Catholic Church, Officiating. There will be no visitation or viewing.
