Roberta Buskey

Roberta Frances (Napiltonia) Buskey, 83, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully at home on October 15, 2023. Roberta was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Aunt. Born on January 30, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Vensano and Edna Napiltonia. She was a graduate of Catholic High School Class of 1957.

She was a retired employee of the PA Department of Labor and Industry and a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Swatara Twp. Roberta was an honorary member of the Allison Hook and Ladder Co. No. 2 and enjoyed volunteering at various organizations. She cherished spending time with family and friends, as well as helping them in times of need.

Roberta is the widow of Barry J. Buskey, to whom she was married for 59 years. She is survived by one son, Michael J. Buskey and his wife, Michelle of Mechanicsburg; and two grandchildren, Raeann Buskey and Kaelyn Buskey.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm in Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Swatara Twp. with Rev. Kathleen J. Baker, STM, her Pastor, officiating. Private burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in her church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
