Rose Marie Hughes

Rose Marie Barbush Hughes, 93, of Brethren Village, Lititz died Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in the Village.

She was a graduate of Steelton High School, a retired Customer Service Representative for Capital Blue Cross, a member of former St. Ann Roman Catholic Church. and member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, both of Steelton.

Rose Marie was the daughter of the late Louis and Florence Spizzirri Barbush. She is survived by three daughters, Sheryl L. Reuser and husband, Hank of The Woodlands, TX, Bonita H. Pellittione and husband, David of Ephrata, and Wendy R. Hughes and husband, Michael J. Willner of Chadds Ford, PA; seven grandchildren, Marisa, Martina, Matthew, Jessica, Andrew, Wyatt and Cael; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Hank Alan Reuser and her brother, Samuel Barbush.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 815 S. Second St., Steelton with Rev. Steven Arena, Pastor, Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in her church. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
