Rose Neidlinger

Rose Marie (Covert) Neidlinger, 77, of Harrisburg, passed away at Carolyn Croxtan Slane Hospice Residence on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Born in Langondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Catherine I. (Smith) Covert. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas L. Neidlinger, Sr., who passed away on February 28, 1988.
Rose graduated from Tussey Mountain High School in 1964. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church. She was an avid crafter who loved sewing and needlepoint. She also loved collecting buttons. Most of all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be very much missed.
Rose is survived by her children Cathy Bruno and husband Michael of Harrisburg, Thomas Neidlinger, Jr. of Mechanicsville, VA, and Stephanie Linard and husband Brad of Lancaster, SC; her grandchildren Christina, Conner, Connor, Emma, Brodie, Bryton, and Bria; great-granddaughter Mia; brother Eldie Covert; and sister Mary Umberger. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Jim Neidlinger and sister-in-law Shirley Neidlinger. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Louise Covert, Isabel Neidlinger, Shirley Covert, and Jack Covert.
A Funeral Service will take place at Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, PA 17113 on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 12:00 PM. A Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rolling Green Cemetery.
