Russel S. Conrad, Jr.

Russel Sylvester Conrad, Jr., 76, of Harrisburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Russel S. Conrad, Sr. and Anna Mae (Myers) Conrad.

Russel graduated from Central Dauphin High School in 1966. He worked part time as a Projectionist for the Paxtang movie theater and Trans Lux theaters. He went on to work as Maintenance Supervisor for Penn State, Harrisburg until his retirement. He also enjoyed golfing with his family and was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Russel is survived by his son Russel Sylvester Conrad, III and his wife Melanie; daughter Nicole Marie Craig and her husband John; grandchildren Christopher Russel Craig, Robert Vittitoe, and Alexa Vittitoe; former wife Sandra Kay Conrad; and sister Carol Patrina; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sondra Kay.
