Ruth Lyter

Ruth E. Kolva Lyter, 83, of Dauphin, died Saturday, August 20, 2022 in Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.

She was a retired Bank Teller for Dauphin National Bank; member of Market Square Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg; Avid 4H Member, Treasurer for the Dauphin County Extension Office and a volunteer with WMSP Church Radio, where she hosted a program called Showtime.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Lyter, parents, Clarence "George" Kolva and Bertha Ellen Etzweiler Kolva. Ruth is survived by her two daughters, Renee E. Lyter, Boston, MA and Rae E. Brion and husband Daniel L., Carlisle; brothers, Eugene F. Kolva and wife Nancy of Greencastle, PA., Glenn W. Kolva and wife Dorothy, Millersburg, Floyd L. Kolva and his deceased wife Erica, Cross Junction, VA; deceased brothers, Raymond A. Kolva, Boyd I. Kolva and Hilda I. Kolva; grandchildren, Joshua L. Brion, Dauphin; Matthew L. Brion, Carlisle, Nicole E. Brion, Carlisle and the late Christopher R. Brion.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 11:30 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 South Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, with Pastor Kim D. Wadlington, Pastor, Market Square Presbyterian Church, officiating. Inurnment into Columbarium will follow at a later date in Market Square Presbyterian Church. A visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 am - 11:30 am in the funeral home.
