Ruth Marie Rapp

Ruth Marie (Mahoney) Rapp, 76, of Harrisburg passed away peacefully on, Thursday, January 23, 2025. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Richard Desmond Dailey and Dorothy Eileen Mahoney. She was the loving wife of the late Steven John Rapp, who passed away in 2019.

Ruthie is survived by her daughters Daneen Henneman, Dianna Henneman, and Stephanie Rapp; grandchildren Aunya Simms, Christyan Carter, Lonnae Rawls, great-grandchildren Mayanna Burton, and A’brielle Horne; great-great-grandson, Amiri Garner; and sisters Sylvia Spagnolo (Phil Wise) and Angela Spagnolo; her aunt Zoe Loncar (Jim); and cousins Susie Miller, Steven Loncar & wife June, James Loncar; as well as a large extended family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Nicodemo Spagnolo, sister Bridget Spagnolo Still, and son-in-law Lonnie Rawls.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S Harrisburg Street in Oberlin. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A Viewing will be held in the funeral home prior to service from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
