Saide Baaklini

Saide Baaklini, age 68, of Harrisburg, and formerly of Beirut, Lebanon, peacefully entered into eternal life, with her loving family by her side, at home, on Sunday, April 4, 2021. Saide was born on Sunday, January 4, 1953 in Sourat, Lebanon to the late Youssef Khouri and Souad (Mondalek) Khouri. In addition to her parents Saide is preceded in death by, her brothers George Khouri and John Khouri and her sister Saada Rhayem.

Saide is survived by her husband of 48 years, Antoine Hanna Baaklini; three children, Pascale Baaklini and her daughter, Maxine Baaklini-True (husband Anthony True and their son Milo) of Harrisburg, Nansi Armstrong (Baaklini) and her husband Steve, and their three sons: Steven, Jr., Travis and Xavier, of Harrisburg; Antoine Baaklini, Jr. and his wife Kaitlin, and their children, Antoine, Santino, Lucia, and Layla, of Harrisburg; her sister Gladys Sater, her husband Joseph and family, her sister, Alyce Khouri; her brother, Peter Khouri, his wife Sonia and family; her sister, Octavia Bounader and family, and many nieces and nephews.

Saide was Catholic and a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Parish in Harrisburg. She was a women with the most caring and loving soul. Compassionate, hardworking, loving, always doing for others, and her enormous amount of strength are Saide''s most noble qualities. She loved to cook, spend time with her grandchildren, great-grand children and family, and you would always see her outside tending to her many gardens. That''s where she was happy the most. Among other things, Saide loved to shop and was known for her fabulous outfits and purses. Saide''s legacy, the many lives she has touched, and wonderful memories of her will forever warm the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

All are welcome to join Saide''s family on Saturday, April 10, 2021, for her viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 S Harrisburg St, Oberlin, PA 17113; and for her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Laboure Church, 4000 Derry St, Harrisburg, PA 17111, with Rev. J Josh Weaver, Celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery at 116 S Oak Grove Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112. Saide''s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Skyline Diner at 7510 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg, PA 17112, following the burial.
