Samuel Radanovic, 88, of Palmyra, died Thursday, July 22, 2021 in his home.
He was a retired Engineer for Dupont Inc. and Berg Electronics. He was a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin, the American Serb Lodge No. 37 S.N.F., Serbian American Civic and Educational Club of Steelton, and served as caretaker of Serb Park.
Sam was the son of the late Dmitar Radanovic and Catherine Muth Prowell and is survived by his loving wife, Margaret "Peggy" Faranov Radanovic; three sons, Milan Radanovic and his wife, Nina of Hummelstown, Gregory Radanovic and his wife, Debby of Lancaster, Christopher Radanovic and his wife, Beth Ann of Etters and an "adopted" daughter, Marietta Mierski and her husband, Joe; brother, George Radanovic of Fannettsburg; sister, Maryann Seiders of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Ioanna, Luis Antonio, Justin, Nicholas, Marina, Kyranna, Christina, Anney, Nathan and Marek; and great grandson, Rohan. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Stevan Radanovic, who was killed in the Korean War and Daniel Radanovic; and a granddaughter, Catherine Radanovic.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church with Rev. Christopher Rocknage, his Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 am until 11:00 am in his church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, OBERLIN.
