Sandra J. Keller Spoljaric, BSN, RN, OCN, 72, of Chambers Hill, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in Carolyn''s House of Hospice of Central PA, Susquehanna Twp.
She was a graduate of Wilkes Barre General Hospital School of Nursing and Elizabethtown College, where she obtained her BSN. She was an Oncology Certified Register Nurse at Hershey Medical Center in the Cancer Institute providing care and compassion to her patients for over 40 years.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, the Oncology Nursing Society, where she served as Treasurer, and St.Lawrence Lodge No. 13 Croatian Fraternal Union. She was an Assistant Girl Scout Leader in Chambers Hill and served as a volunteer for the Juvenile Diabetes Assn. Foundation.
Sandy was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Richards Keller and is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Rudolph D. Spoljaric, Sr.; two sons, Rudolph D. Spoljaric, Jr. and wife, Mary of Bressler and Jeffrey H. Spoljaric of New Smyrna Beach, FL; daughter, Joy S. Trout and husband, Michael of Hummelstown; sister, Patricia Soter and husband, Stanley of Clarks Summit; three grandchildren, Lucy, Danielle and Kyle; four great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and godchildren, she considered her own.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 815 S. Second St., Steelton with Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki, her Pastor, as celebrant. Burial Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and on Monday from 9:30 until 10:30 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin.
