Sandy grew up in Rutherford, PA. It was there that she met the love of her life, Bill, and they began their life and family together. They were blessed with 47 years of marriage.
Sandy went to Dauphin County Technical School and graduated in 1974. She returned to DCTS to work as a teacher''s aide for 13 years. Sandy also was the Arts and Crafts Supervisor for Swatara Township Parks and Recreation for many years where she shared her love of crafts with hundreds of youths throughout our community. She spent the best years of her life watching her grandchildren and they meant the world to her.
She was preceded in death by her father and sisters Susan and Belinda Bianco. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband William Curtis Moore and their children, son William Curtis Moore II and wife Patricia, daughter Melissa Moore Beck and husband Thatcher. She is also survived by her sisters Deborah Harvey and husband Gary, Tina Bortner and husband Mark, and a large extended family of brother and sister in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Sandy loved her grandchildren more than life itself. Her grandchildren, Brady Edward Holwig, Grace Josephine Holwig, and Benson Jay Beck will forever be loved by their Nonni.
A special thank you to family, close friends and her hospice nurses who were a constant support during and brightening her most difficult days. Sandy was so thankful for and appreciative of all. Hospice nurses Missy and Tammie were truly her angels here on Earth.
