Susan Middleton

Susan M. Middleton, 65, of Lenker Manor, Swatara Twp., died Saturday, July 15, 2023 in UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.

She was a retired Contract Specialist at the Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg, a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School Class of 1975, a graduate of both Harrisburg Area Community College and Penn State University, Harrisburg. She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church.

Susan was the daughter of the late William Lantz and Marie Cribari Middleton and is survived by one sister, Trudi Middleton Flynn and husband, Daniel of Hummelstown; nieces, Arianna and Isabella Flynn; nephew, Liam Flynn; uncle, Ernest Cribari; grandmother, Luisa Cribari; extended family members including the Cribari Family (Jeanne, Joe, Jim, John, and many others), the LaVia family, the Middleton family, the Zicarelli family and the many others whom she loved dearly. Sue brought so much joy and love to everyone in her life, and will be greatly missed.

A very special thanks to everyone who helped care for her, especially Connie and Joe Cribari, Jeanne Pastor, Laura Egan and Linda Zicarelli. You kindness and compassion is greatly appreciated.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Swatara Twp. with Rev. James E. Lease, her Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in her church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
