Suzanne Bent Mioff

Suzanne Bent Mioff, 86 of Lower Paxton Twp., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in Select Specialty Hospital, Camp Hill, after a courageous battle with cancer. 

She was born in Wabash, Indiana on November 29, 1938 to parents Herbert & Grace Bent. Loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was known for her kind and gentle spirit, her beautiful smile and positive outlook on life. She and husband Eli, were fortunate enough to have 20 wonderful years together, during which time, they enjoyed nights out dining and dancing, listening to music on the patio, vacationing with family, and spending time with friends. She was an avid bridge player. 

Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Wanda, and granddaughter, Amanda Lynn Piersol. She is survived by her husband, Eli, her five children, Lin (Jack) Ninnis, Lori (Rick) Gentry, Lisa (Scott) Denelle, Mike (Pam) Ridenour, Tom Ridenour and stepdaughter, Angie (Josh) DiFlorio and their two children. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The world was a better place with our Suzy in it, and she will be dearly missed by all. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11:00 am in Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church, 5501 Old Locust Lane, Harrisburg with Very Rev. Stephen Vernak, Pastor, Officiating. Burial at the conclusion of services will be in Baldwin Cemetery, Steelton. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the Church.
