Terri Spangler

Terri Rae Etnoyer Spangler, 62, of Dalmatia and formerly of Harrisburg, died Thursday, January 26, 2023 in UPMC - Community Osteopathic Hospital.
She was a 1978 Graduate from Dauphin County Technical School and Middletown High School, she then graduated in 1979 from Empire Beauty School.
Terri began her career as a Salon Manager for the former Pomeroy''s Department Store in downtown Harrisburg, where she met her husband, Mike. She then worked for Fulton Bank as a Teller, Head Teller and Customer Service Representative. Terri then opened her own salon called Terry Spangler''s Hair Designs, in downtown Harrisburg. She retired as a Mortgage Originator for Members 1st Credit Union, with 17 years of service. Terri worked her way in the company with numerous positions. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Middletown.
Terri loved everything about the outdoors and loved to travel. From the beach to the mountains, she was most happy when surrounded by family and friends with her toes in the sand or keeping warm by a campfire. She enjoyed riding her Harley and Camping with the love of her life and husband Michael.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Calvin Etnoyer and Pauline F. Wallace Etnoyer. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Michael R. Spangler; one son, Michael R. Spangler, Jr., Harrisburg; one daughter, Tara R. Spangler Peffer and husband Jason, Dauphin; three grandchildren that she loved dearly, Aurora Spangler, Addison Peffer and Raylan Peffer; her brother, Scott Etnoyer, Middletown; and nephew, Scott Etnoyer, Jr., Middletown and numerous close friends.
A Celebration of Terri''s life will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 7:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 South Harrisburg Street, Oberlin. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm to the time of services.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Terri''s name to the Hillman Cancer Center, 4300 Londonderry Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
