Theresa Schlodynske

Theresa M. Fure Schlodynske, 80, of Lower Paxton Twp. died Thursday, March 23,2023 in her daughter''s home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a retired Case Manager for the New Cumberland Army Depot - Department of Defense, member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church and the Rutherford Heights Lions Club.

Theresa was the daughter of the late Clement and Mabel Hoffman Fure and was preceded in death by two brothers, Clement Fure, Jr. and Clarence Fure and her sister-in-law, Diane Fure. She was the widow of Richard F. Schlodynske and is survived by three daughters, Tracy M. Hammaker, Monica L. Mosey and husband Steve and Erin N. Kurtz; one sister, Carol Zimmerman and husband Lester; three brothers, Donald Fure and wife Caroline, Robert Fure and wife Cynthia and Michael Fure; 11 grandchildren, Ethan, Amber, Danielle and Connor Hammaker, Steven (Brooke), Benjamin, Samantha and Nathanial Mosey, Brandon (Kim) LaVia, Andrew and Gethin Kurtz; 3 great-grandchildren, Jackson King, Gio LaVia and Archie Mosey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with Rev. James Lease, Pastor, Celebrant. Burial will take place on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 11:30 am in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am - 11:00 am in the church. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Oberlin.
