Thomas F. Grubic, 72, of Mechanicsburg, died Sunday, March 6, 2022 in the Thornwald Home, Carlisle.
He was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School Class of 1967, a former employee of Quest Diagnostics, Baltimore and was a Supervisor in the Graphics Dept. of Northrop-Grumman, Washington, DC. He was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, St. Aloysius Lodge No. 42 of the American Slovenian Catholic Union, St. Lawrence Lodge No. 13 Croatian Fraternal Union, and the Steelton Italian Club.
Tom was the son of the late Edwin F. and Mary L. Grubic and is survived by his husband, Terrence Dragovan of Mechanicsburg; one brother, Michael T. Grubic and wife, Penny Fink Grubic of Mt. Joy; one sister, Judith L. Bedard of Palm Harbor, FL; nephews and nieces, Christopher S. Grubic and wife, Beth Holloway Grubic of Lancaster, Elyse M. K. Rode and husband, David of Palmyra, Morgan A. Bedard of Denver, CO, and Leah M. Bedard of Harrisburg; grand nieces, Zandra E. Grubic of Palmyra, Gabriela L. Santiago-Grubic of Palmyra, and Avery E. Grubic of Winter Garden, FL; and his favorite pet amazon parrot of 41 years, "Kahlua". His favorite hobbies were exotic food, traveling and gardening.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 815 S. Second St., Steelton with Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki as Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin.
