Veronica Telgarsky

Veronica H. Fekete Telgarsky, 94, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in Carolyn''s Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Muskegon, Michigan, on June 1, 1927, the daughter of the late George and Helen (Soltisz) Fekete.
Veronica was known for her kindness, caring, generosity and unconditional love. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She lived life with great joy and made a practice of counting her blessings each day.

Veronica gave her time and talent to many charities and community organizations, and was an active member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church. She loved to spend time with friends and family, travel, play bridge, read extensively and was a lifelong learner.

She is survived by her daughters Kim Telgarsky of Harrisburg, PA; Annette Telgarsky of West Chester, PA; her granddaughter Justine Musselman of Brooklyn, New York; brothers, Reverend George Fekete of Grand Rapids Michigan and John (Marilyn) Fekete of Elk Rapids, Michigan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Veronica was predeceased by her husband John Paul Telgarsky, her sister Joyce Cashman and her sister Gloria Cline.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg, PA, with the Rev. James Lease, as Celebrant. A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 12, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 South Harrisburg St., Oberlin, PA. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, West Hanover Twp. The family kindly requests that everyone who would like to attend the viewing or the Funeral Mass please wear a mask at all times while indoors. Thank you.
