Obituary of William Dagenhart
William E. Dagenhart, 82, of Lower Swatara Twp., died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in his home.
He was a retired Steelworker for Bethlehem Steel Corp. with 42 years of service and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, Penn Harris Gun Club, St. Lawrence Club, St. Mary's Club, Deutscher Quartet Club, Bressler Club and American Legion Post 420, Steelton. Bill was an avid pool player and a fanatic Steel-High Rollers and Penn State fan.
He was the son of the late Earl and Mary Kleinsak Dagenhart and is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Barbara A. Smiley Dagenhart; two daughters, Suzanne M. Hill and her husband, Larry of Steelton and Elizabeth A. Greenwalt of Fairfield, OH; three step daughters, Connie Zimmerman and Karen Renn, both of Harrisburg, and Katie Zimmerman of Steelton; one brother, Larry Dagenhart of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Jordan Hill and his wife, Cristen, Janelle Hill and her fiance, Michael Pilsitz, Joslyn Hill, Jason Greenwalt and his wife, Kristin, Kristofer Renn and his wife, Kaley, MacKenzie Zimmerman, and Kyle Renn; three great grandchildren, Julian, Charlotte and Ana Leigh. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Dagenhart.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 12 Noon in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 SOUTH HARRISBURG ST., OBERLIN with Very Rev. David L. Danneker officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 am until 12 Noon in the funeral home.
