Yachira Marie Ramos-Roman, 31, died August 1, 2022 in Penn State M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was born July 23, 1991 in Guayama Puerto Rico. She grew up in the town of Salinas in a neighborhood called El Coco.
Yachira is survived by her parents, Carmen M. Roman and Eddie Ramos; two sisters, Ericka Ramos, Holyoke, MA and Genesis Colon-Roman, Harrisburg; one brother Eddie Ramos, Jr., who in 2017 departed this life with the Lord
She was the daughter of Carmen M. Roman and Eddie Ramos. She had two sisters Ericka Ramos of Holyoke Massachusetts and Genesis Colon-Roman of Harrisburg, PA. A brother Eddie Ramos Jr. who in 2017 departed with the Lord. From her childhood directed with love by someone who became a father and friend Alejandro Colon, it was when in an environment of Family Development, the greatest value that a human being can have formed a young woman full of courage and feelings of love and service.
Yachi, as we affectionately called her, studied in Puerto Rico, Florida and Harrisburg, and was a 2009 Graduate of John Harris High School.
Her humility, honesty, and respect were the most remarkable traits that allowed Yachi to reach many who were a part of her life.
Over the years while attending the house of the Lord, she met a man who would conquer her heart bringing her life joy, Ronaldo Rosado, who asked her to marry and without hesitation she said yes. Bringing into their lives wedding plans which would have been held on September 17, 2022.
A daughter, sister, friend, excellent aunt of two children who filled her with joy, Alexis Joel who illuminated her just by calling her titi chia and her godson and nephew Adriel Alejandro who had her all day running and made her laugh when he would call her titi nugget.
She marked the hearts of many for being a fighter because in the midst of her processes, she only trusted without questioning God. As her screen saver on her phone said, "Holding on without questioning God".
A virtuous young woman who always believed that God always does the best and that he would be her Help.
We will always remember you Yachi.
