Freeda F. Alleman Still, 96, of Enhaut, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. She was born on June 10, 1922, in Enhaut, to the late Earl R. and Beatrice M. Shuey Alleman. After graduating high school, Freeda enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, playing piano, knitting and crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Still; sister, Carol A. Matjasic, brother, Earl W. Alleman, granddaughter, Sandra A. Still and is survived by two sons, James A. Still, Jr. and wife Carol, Lancaster, Larry E. Still and wife Barb, Bressler; one daughter, Diane C. Weiss and husband Robert, Hunt Valley, MD; two brothers, Ray Alleman, Port Deposit, MD and Donald Alleman, Newton, NC; one sister, Joyce Amos, Newport; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 South Second Street, Steelton. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Nick Keeney officiating. Burial at the conclusion of services will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, 1010 Orchard Drive, Steelton, PA 17113.
