Obituary of Elizabeth Reynolds

Elizabeth Jane Smith Reynolds, 83 of Swatara Twp., died Friday, September 7, 2018 in UPMC Pinnacle Community General Hospital.

She was a former employee of the Neighborhood Pride Center, retired from Weis Markets and Crossmark Sales. She loved playing Bingo, but most of all, she loved being with her family.

She was the daughter of the late Jay Kenneth Smith and Sara Jenkins Smith and was preceded in death by her son, Scott A. Reynolds. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Richard Reynolds and wife Evangelista, Harrisburg; her daughters, Dodie-Lynn Reynolds, Harrisburg, Stacey Leigh Reynolds Turner and husband Robert and Cherrelle Amber Reynolds, Harrisburg; her 16 loving grandchildren, Nikita Gross and husband Nate, Dannielle Newcomer and husband Steven, Richard J. Reynolds, Jr., Sgt. Kenneth Corbitt, PFC Kevon Atkins, Kevin Atkins, Dinna Atkins, Amber Reynolds, Jasmine Turner, Robert Turner, Jr., Tylor Reynolds, Shyanne Durden and husband Quayshaun, Antonia Reynolds, Scott Reynolds, Jay-Lynne Reynolds and Kelly Reynolds; 3 great-grandchildren, Amahli Durden, Adonis Reynolds and Jayden Reynolds.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her siblings, David Smith, Judy Wilkerson, Zelli Ann Smith, and is survived by her siblings Bonita Smith Smerckneck and husband B.J. of Middletown and Sandra Patry, Harrisburg

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2253 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with the Rev. Chuck Martzall, Officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army of Harrisburg, 1122 Green Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102.
