Obituary of Virginia Zuvich

Virginia C. "Ginger" Yetter Zuvich, 84, of Steelton, died Monday, November 5, 2018 in Greenfield Senior Living at Graysonview, Swatara Twp.

Ginger was a retired Registered Nurse at Holy Spirit Hospital with 20 years of service. She was a graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School Class of 1952 and the Polyclinic Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the former St. James Roman Catholic Church, Steelton, a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, and a Peer Counselor at Greenfield Senior Living with the Dauphin County Agency on Aging.

She was the daughter of the late Paul W. Yetter, Sr. and Claire Smith Yetter and the widow of Frank A. Zuvich, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Frank A. Zuvich, Jr. and his wife, Kim of Mechanicsburg and Leo P. Zuvich and his wife, Jamie of Lower Paxton Twp.; two daughters, Claire Z. Zuvich and Mari (Marybeth) Montgomery and her husband, Don of Huntsville, TX; two brothers, Paul W. Yetter, Jr. of Bowie, MD and Richard Yetter of Westmont, IL; eight grandchildren, Megan, Christen, Caroline, Virginia, Curtis, Lindsey, Tyler and Maggie. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gene "Whitey" Yetter, Sr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Very Rev. David L. Danneker, her Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. Second St., Steelton. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7:00 pm.
