Obituary of Paul Dougher
Paul F. Dougher, 77, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at home.
He was born in Carbondale, PA, on April 3,1941 to the late Thomas and Stella Morris Dougher. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Paul retired as a Supervisor for Ames True Temper, in Harrisburg. His true passions were enjoying the outdoors, hunting, 3D target shooting, taking long weekend walks, stopping to have lunch under a tree with his Son Mark Dougher in the mountains of Clarks valley for nearly 54 years. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Paul also enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and the Green Bay Packers.
Paul was the widower of his loving wife of 53 years Elaine V. Gouffer Dougher, who preceded him in death in December of 2016. Paul is survived by three daughters, Lisa L. Long (Jeffery), Colleen M. Hubler (Michael), and Kathy M. Allen (Jeffery); one son Mark L. Dougher; three grandchildren, Ashley M. Hayes (Keegan), Shannon E. Allen, Eric P. Allen; one brother, Joseph Dougher (Christine); two sisters, Maureen Pease (Robert), and Alice Anderson (Andy).
Memorial Services and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services-Steelton.
