Obituary of Cathy Labashousky

Cathy Labashousky, 59, of Steelton, died Sunday, April 7, 2019 in the Penn State Hershey Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a retired Supply Systems Analyst for the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton; St. Lawrence Lodge 13 - Croatian Fraternal Union and a volunteer for the Harrisburg Symphony.

She was an avid Golfer, loved gardening, traveling and photography.

Cathy is the daughter of Joseph Labashousky and the late Pauline Mrljak Labashousky. In addition to her father, she is survived by her sister, Ann Meadows and husband Donald H., Warrington; two brothers, Anthony Labashousky, Etters and John A. Labashousky, Bradford; three nephews, Matthew Labashousky, Patrick and Christian Meadows and an "adopted" niece, Jesika Steuerwalt. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Donovan Meadows.

Cathy's family is especially grateful to the wonderful staff at Hershey Medical Center. We warmly and graciously thank them for their sincere compassion, loving kindness and tender care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 11:30 am in Prince of Peace - Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 815 South Second Street, Steelton, with the Very Rev. David L. Danneker, Pastor, Celebrant. Burial at the conclusion of Mass will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. A visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 am - 11:00 am in the Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 South Second Street, Steelton.
