Obituary of Edward Loncar
Edward W. Loncar, 83, of Bressler, died Friday, May 17, 2019 in his home.
He was a retired Truck Driver for the former Harrisburg Paper Co. and a Peacetime Veteran of the US Army. Ed was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, and served as a volunteer for the annual Parish Picnic, Spaghetti Dinners and Bingo. He was an active member of the Bressler's Boys Club, Youth Basketball Coach for the former St. Mary's and St. Mary's/St. Peter's teams; Youth Baseball Coach, Bressler, honorary member of Bressler Club and former Manager of The Polka Quads band.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Spanitz Loncar; two sisters, Elizabeth Loncar and Catherine Mrksic and her husband, Dan; two brothers, Robert Loncar and his wife, Dolores and James Loncar and his wife, Zoe; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11:30 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 815 S.Second St., Steelton, with Very Rev. David L. Danneker, his Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A visitation will be held in Prince of Peace Church on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
