Obituary of Darlene Williams
Darlene 'Dar' A. (Hutchison) Williams, 72 of Highspire, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020, in UPMC Pinnancle Osteopathic Hospital. She was born on December 16, 1947, the daughter of the late Albert and Evelyn (Kone) Hutchison. Darlene retired from the Governor's Office of Administration, Bureau of Labor Relations. She was a member of the Friendship Fire Company Club, St. Lawrence CFU Lodge #13, St. Aloysius Club, The Dutch Club, and St. Mary's Club, all of Steelton. She was also a member of the Middletown VFW Ladies Auxiliary 1620. Darlene is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Roy T. Williams; two sons, Gregory Snyder (Konni) of Tennessee, Robbie R. Williams (Lindsay) of Middletown, one daughter, Michele M. Venesevich (Michael) of Steelton. Granddaughters, Alissa B. Behney, Kaitlin and Savanna Snyder, and Leah J. Williams, one grandson, Tyler T. Williams, and two great granddaughters, Olivia S. and Harper G. Williams. She is also survived by two sisters, Susan Bowman (Scott), Donna White (Dennis), and her loving dog Molly. Darlene was preceded in death by her brother, Donald A. Hutchison. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 12:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. 2nd St. Steelton, with pastor Dave Anderson, pastor of The Highspire Church of God officiating. A Viewing will be held on Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin.
