Obituary of Jeannette Ketterer

Jeannette A. (DiSilverio) Ketterer, 90, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at her home in Lower Paxton Twp. Born July 27, 1929 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Jennie (Piccolo) DiSilverio, and was retired from the Commonwealth of PA. Jeannette's greatest joys in life were spending time with her family, being on the beach, and being around her loving dogs. Jeannette was preceded in death by her brother, Austin and her late husband, Neal and is survived by her four children, Lisa Reigle (Scott), N. Joseph Ketterer(Yvonne), Steve Ketterer (fiance' Michelle Kennedy), and Lynn Fieman (Frank), all of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Bobbi J. Conley, Tony Reigle, Lt. (USN) Bradley Ketterer, Brandon Reigle (Angie), and Devon Reigle (fiance' Ryan); four great grandchildren, Aaron Fuller, Ben Reigle, Casey Kopetchny, and Ethan Muza-Reigle. A viewing will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services-HARRISBURG, 2253 Derry St., Harrisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 11:00 am in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 555 S. 25th St., Harrisburg with Rev. Philip White, Parochial Vicar, as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4075 Derry St., Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way #270, Harrisburg, PA 17110. The family would like to thank all of her Homeland Hospice aides and caretakers for providing outstanding services and assistance to not only Jeannette, but the family as well. Thank you Danielle (Social Worker), Linda (Nurse), Carolyn (Massage Therapist and Cosmetologist), Chastity (Aide), and any others from Homeland Hospice and Home Instead who touched Jeannette's life.
