Obituary of William Zuvich

William J. Zuvich, 89, of Oberlin, died Thursday, February 27, 2020 in The Middletown Home. He was a retired Steelworker for Bethlehem Steel Corp., a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp., St. Aloysius Lodge No. 42 KSKJ, St. Lawrence Lodge No. 13 Croatian Fraternal Union and American Legion Post 420, Steelton. Bill was the son of the late Louis and Caroline Cunjak Zuvich and the widower of Rose B. Muzic Zuvich. He is survived by a step daughter, Victoria Margaret Vukmanic Welsh of Murphy, NC; one brother, Thomas Zuvich of Shiremanstown; several nieces and nephews including his caregiver, Rita Dubravec and her husband, John; several great nieces and great nephews; and several great great nieces and great great nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 11:00 am in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Josh Weaver, Parochial Vicar, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in his church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Steelton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St. Harrisburg, PA 17111.
