Obituary of Alan Brubacher
Alan E. Brubacher, 58, of Steelton, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, March 1, 2020. He was born in Harrisburg on August 31, 1961 to the late Howard "Whitey" and Peggy Brubacher. He graduated from Steelton-Highspire High School Class of 1979. Alan was a Supervisor/HVAC Technician for AFSCME Council 13. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed coaching youth sports in Steelton. His greatest loves were his dogs, camping and spending time with his granddaughters. Alan is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, the former Connie M. Shanabrough; two children, Jennifer L. Brubacher of Steelton and Justin H. Brubacher and wife, Lyne of Hummelstown; two granddaughters, Aries and Laila Brubacher; and two sisters, Cathy Brubacher and Karen Kautz, both of Linglestown. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. Second St., Steelton. A viewing will be held from 9:30 am until 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
