Obituary of Marjorie Belsak

Marjorie L Hester Belsak, 93, of Swatara Township, passed away in UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital on July 22, 2020. She was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton and the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Marjorie was the daughter of the late Rufus and Berta Mallette Hester. She was born in Savannah, GA and was the widow of John B. Belsak, Sr., to whom she was married for 61 years. She is survived by three children, daughter Karen Griffith and husband, Glen of Chattanooga, TN, daughter Marie Conrad of Harrisburg, and son John, Jr. and wife, Helen of Harrisburg; two sisters, Betty Fish of Savannah, GA and Christine Decker of Warner Robbins, GA; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Very Rev. David L. Danneker, her Pastor, as Celebrant. Private Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00 am in her church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, 815 S. Second St., Steelton, PA 17113
