Obituary of Margaret Devlin

Margaret Kane Devlin, 110, of Homeland Center, Harrisburg, died Thursday, August 20, 2020 in the Center. She was a retired Retail Sales Clerk and a member of the former St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Steelton. Margaret was the daughter of the late Matthew and Marian Hoffer Kane and the widow of David W. Devlin. She is survived by two sons, William D. Devlin and his wife, Judith of New Cumberland and Robert K. Devlin and his wife, Delyn of Linglestown; three daughters, Lois A. Verbos of Harrisburg, M. Colleen Lewis and her husband Timothy of Bethlehem, and Mary Beth Mariani and her husband, Andrew of Frederick, MD; 18 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 12 Noon in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 815 S. Second St., Steelton with Rev. Msgr. James W. Lyons as Celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. The viewing will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, Memorial Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
