Obituary of Jeffrey Hollenbach

On Monday, August 24, 2020, Jeff was welcomed home into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. He was courageous for many years, striving for his health. He was born on September 20, 1962 to Albert and the late Emma (Vasley) Hollenbach. He received his nursing degree from Harrisburg Area Community College and then became a Physician's Assistant, having obtained that degree from the University of North Dakota. Jeff was a skilled and meticulous medical practitioner, excellent in problem solving. He desired to help all people. He loved fishing, bowling, Christian music, nature, and rescuing and caring for much-loved animals. Jeff was a man of faith and loved to sing, sharing his love of singing and talent at church. He was dearly loved, and will be missed until we meet again. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Emma and his sister, Lisa. He is survived by his father Albert, his wife Suzanne, daughter Sarah DeSantis and son-in-law Christopher, a sister, Lori Ann, nieces, nephews and cousins, and extended family and friends. Private Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11:00 am in Churchville Cemetery, 51 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin with Rev. Rosemary Tonkin, Pastor of Salem Lutheran Church, Oberlin, officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
