Obituary of Pauline Sartori

Pauline M. Bakic Sartori, 95, of Susquehanna Twp., died Thursday, October 1, 2020 in Cumberland Crossings, Carlisle. She was born October 28, 1924 in Steelton, PA to the late Steve and Mary Papp Bakic, She was the widow of Edmund Sartori who preceded her in death in August 2004 Pauline retired from the Social Security Administration as a Service Representative, was previously employed by Selective Service Headquarters and the Tri-County United Way. She was a former choir member in the St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church and was a member of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg, where she did volunteer work in their elementary school for a good many years, and was a Girl Scout Leader at the same time. Her priority was her family but she also loved to sew, bake, knit and read. Football season was a good time for her. Especially when watching Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pauline is survived by one daughter, Mary Jo Wright and husband Bruce, Dauphin, one grandson, Joseph E. Lister and wife Tara, Harrisburg, one granddaughter, Danielle Baldwin and husband Jon, Dauphin; and three great-grandsons, Mason, Myles and Lucas. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 11:00 am in St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Roman Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg with Rev. Leo Goodman,her pastor, as Celebrant . Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. HARRISBURG ST. OBERLIN. Current COVID-19 Restrictions and guidelines for the Commonwealth of PA will be enforced. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O.
